More of a beautiful garden
We ’re back in Massachusetts , visiting with Tingshu Hu again . Yesterday we take on a look at summertime in her front garden , today she ’s deal thought from her beautiful back garden , with photos all fill last June .
Our backyard garden started with a prairifire wild apple tree(Malus‘Prairifire ’ , Zone 4 – 8) and a Pisces pond . The pictures were take around them .
This motion picture was taken on June 12 , from below the limb of the crabapple tree diagram . The flowering plant life include bearded iris ( Iris hybrid , Zone 3 – 8) , salvia ( Salvianemorosa , Zone 3 – 8) , celosia ( Celosiaargentea , annual ) and peony ( Paeoniahybrids , Zone 3 – 8) by the snowy fence .

Taken on the same day , from the other side of the crabapple tree diagram . Below the tree are shade loving flora including variegated Solomon ’s stamp ( Polygonatumodoratum‘Variegatum ’ , Zone 3 – 8) , drear hosta ( Hostahybrids , Zone 3 – 8) and new constitute coleus ( Plectranthusscutellarioides , Zone 10 – 11 or as one-year ) , which will uprise much grown through the summer .

The fish pool . works around the fish pool let in mouse jenny ( Lysimachianummularia‘Aurea ’ , Zone 3 – 9 ) , coral Vanessa Bell ( Heucherahybrids , Zone 4 – 9 ) , risque fescue ( Festucaglauca , Zone 4 – 8) , Nepeta cataria ( Nepetahybrid , Zone 3 – 8) , red twig vary dogwood tree ( Cornus alba ‘ Elegantissima ’ , Zone 2 – 8) , rose silene ( Lychniscoronaria , Zone 4 – 8) , and Japanese maple ( Acerpalmatum , Zone 5 – 9 ) .

Looking toward the garden from behind the wild flowers . you could spy our Havanese dog Luke hide between the flowers . Far away are the last peony flush , and first daylily ( Hemerocallishybrids , Zone 4 – 9 ) blossom ( picture take on June 25 ) .
Looking westwards from the side of the fish pond . Plants around the patio admit blue fescue , angelic alyssum ( Lobulariamaritima , Zone 9 – 11 or as annual ) , zinnia ( Zinniamarylandica , yearly ) , penstemon ( Penstemondigitalis , Zone 3 – 8) , delphinium ( Delphiniumelatum , Zone 3 – 7 ) , wax campion , sweet William ( Dianthus barbatus , Zone 3 – 8) , and lots of tricolor viola from self seeding .
Looking toward the fish pond from the west side . A rise pergola stands beside the pond . A New Dawn climbing rose is bloom with pinkish white flowers .
