My gravid grandparents were born in Sicily . Sadly , I never get down to assemble any of my Italian grandparent before they pass away . After at least three weeks , you ’ll make a dewy-eyed syrup with the lucre and piddle . In a big sauce pan , bring the weewee and sugar to a simmer and stir until the sugar is dissolve completely . Once the gelt is dissolved , remove from warmth and permit the sirup to chill to room temperature .
