She says,“We live on a 4 - Akka treed lot where we make our own maple syrup .   I ’ve planted mostly native plants like New England aster , dogwoods , purple - bloom razzing , lupines , and disastrous - eyed Susans .    Some plant , like goldenrod and ferns , I ’ve transplanted from the forest . I also seek to have plants that offer food for birds like raging strawberries , bourtree , and viburnums . ”Beautiful , Belinda !
