Patricia’s upstate New York garden in late summer

We first chew the fat Patricia Hand sooner this summer ( freshen up your memoryHERE ) , and today she ’s back with an update , include some exposure of the greenhouse she observe and we beg to see ! She says,“Fall is by all odds in the melody here in upstate New York . Some of my container plantings are still hold on as well as annuals in the gardens . former summer and early fall perennial are now in full bloom . Sedum ' Autumn Joy ' , obedient plant life , and anemone , along with aster , are among them . The aroma of the honeyed autumn clematis is so wonderful mightily now . We had a great growing season this twelvemonth . It ’s heavy to conceive that I will shortly be putting these gardens to bed ! " Of the greenhouse , she say , " My greenhouse arrived in October of 2011 in kit form . My husband , Dudley , and our Logos , Eric , assembled it in 2 sidereal day time . I helped with the finishing touches . I could n’t wait to start planting ! I straightaway started some lettuce and spinach seeds . We were eating these super acid right up until Christmas . I keep out down my greenhouse for the winter and start up again in March . I can take cuttings of my favorite tender plants , which I over - winter in our sunroom or basement , and commence new works in the spring . It also gives me great pleasure to experiment with new seed kind . “Wow , your garden still looks so nice , and sizable , too , Pat ! That greenhouse is DREAMY .
