My Begonia is Awesome!

I hump that it ’s summer and most gardeners are going crazy about their cool vegetable and red-hot new perennial . I ’m mighty there with you , as my tomatoes edge their mode higher into the stratosphere . But even that is not enough to tear me away from my newest indoor favorite : I ’m going insane with adoration over my ‘ Cracklin Rosie ’ begonia . She ’s a genuine stunner , with her shimmering pinkish spots and dark , curvy leaves . A cane begonia , the independent fore is growing straight upward , produce new leaves as it goes .

‘ Cracklin Rosie ’ is a startlingly seductive plant , pull you over as soon as you walk in the doorway . The most amazing part , however , is a detail you wo n’t notice until you get confining . At first , you see something small stick around out between two prominent flank . You lean in for a closer tone , seeing what looks like a expectant chaw of gum get to your plant . nearer , near … AHHH ! It ’s a new leaf ! It ’s too insanely unique to be ignore . Every single time that I see a leaf unfurling , I ’m plainly stunned at how awesome this plant really is .

I bewilder this sweet beauty fromLogee ’s Greenhousein Danielson , CT . It ’s a 2 hour drive for me , but it was well deserving it . ‘ Cracklin Rosie ’ is middling easy to manage for , requiring a good amount of light , regular watering , and some fertilizer here and there . I ’m pretty neglectful of most of my indoor works , though , and this one ’s still exit unassailable .
