Veggies, flowers, and houseplants

Today ’s photos are from Pauline , akaThe Awkward Domestic .

I ’m a 32 - year - old novice nurseryman populate in the DC metro country . I have always enjoyed caring for plant , but I got more serious about the hobby three years ago when I buy my first home . In plus to florals and veggies , I maintain a decent collection ofindoor plants(68 plants and count ) . I am a strong believer that garden and spending time in nature have the ability to cure and nurture one ’s someone .

Pauline ’s works - occupy office staff ! It used to be you could n’t easily keep plants happy using lamps like this , because old - fashioned incandescent light incandescent lamp do n’t bring forth enough of the wavelengths works use for photosynthesis . But modern compact fluorescent fixture or LED bulbs are not just more vigour effective — they also are great for industrial plant !
