Aeonium’Garnet ' is a hybrid create by Jack Catlin and results from a cross betweenAeonium arboreum’Zwartkop’andAeonium tabuliforme . It was circulate as ISI 95 - 12 in 1995 and is a sibling ofAeonium’Jack Catlin’andAeonium’Zwartkin ' .

Aeonium’Garnet ' , also known asAeonium’Irish center ' , is a beautiful succulent that forms a dense mound of legion outgrowth topped withrosettesof glossy leaves of a rich garnet vividness . It can maturate up to 2 feet ( 60 centimeter ) marvelous and 4 human foot ( 1.2 m ) wide . The center of the rosettes stays fleeceable during the hot summer months , hence the nameAeonium’Irish heart ' . The leaves are red than inAeonium’Zwarzkop ' , which is one of its parent .

The flowers are small , yellow , and star - shaped and appear on sr. rose window in expectant conical to ovoid clustering on stalk that can produce up to 8 inches ( 20 cm ) tall in outflow . The rosettes conk after bloom .
